A bird of prey with the catch of the day – Baldivis styles

Here we see a formidable bird of prey catch enough meat to feed a nest of at least 10 chicks.

An amazing photo captured by Clive Orridge on Western Australian Birds.

The magestic bird snagged the prey at Alcoa Wetlands in Baldivis.

No doubt the rare dickfish put up a mighty fight but it was no good against the fierce deathgrip of the hungry bird.

A fate normally reserved for the fattest of hogs. Check out the feed BELOW

Truly a marvel. Well done little bird. Please share it with the rest.
