Li Quang has allegedly been left fascinated with the hotbed of Chinese culture right here in Perth’s Northbridge.
After spending the day in Perth, he asked multiple locals where a good place to some Chinese food given, he was feeling like some home comforts.
The answer was unanimous, that the best way to enjoy Chinese food in Perth is to sink 12 pints around Northbridge and then slop your arse into Billy Lees or Uncle Billys at 3am.
Now the Premier is very interested to see how Western Australia celebrates Chinese culture.
A source close to Li Quang said the political heavyweight wasn’t going to come all the way to Perth and not partake in this world-famous experience. Adding,
“He has pretty high standards naturally but we told him that by all reports the food was good but that it wouldn’t matter anyway due to the pints. It’s the Australian way and we should respect our hosts”
He then apparently asked a member of his entourage from Perth what dishes were good. He was sad to report to the Premier that he couldn’t remember and those memories weren’t going to come flooding back any time soon.
A source continued,
“He said he didn’t like surprises and that we should look up some menu items so he’s prepared. A Western Australian in the group told him no. You must let the pints decide”
Li Quang will be hitting Northbridge this Friday night. Allegedly.
