In another incredibly unsurprising turn of events, Baz is set to be me made the official Liberal Party leader at the next meeting.
This, of course, means he finally gets his hands on the new Liberal Party Toyota Tarago that was purchased after the Liberals finally won enough seats to need one – 7 to be exact.
A source close to the Liberal Party say that it’s a major step forward for the Liberal Party as for the past 4 years they were rocking the Kia Rio. Our source added,
“It’s a bit of an old banger but it’s the Libs old banger. It’s not like they were going to buy a fancy newer model given Kalamunda, Carine and Vasse will be dragging their filthy feet through it”
At this stage it’s unknown if Libby Mettam will get the spare keys or if she’ll even get to ride shotgun.
There also still is a bit of tension with the Nationals who are no longer the opposition party. With some in the party room asking whether the Tarago has enough pulling power to haul the Nats caravan along.
No doubt it will be a rocky ride.
