The Bunbury Bypass has been forced to fend off Albany motorists with a stick after word got out that the Wilman Wadandi Highway has more than its fair share of roundabouts.
Such is the allure of a good roundabout to an Albany resident, over 5,000 Albany plates were seen on the Bypass this morning alone.
We spoke to Fred who said he savoured every moment of the near 4 hour drive to the Bypass. He told The Times,
“Feel that, it ain’t my gear stick! I’m so hard still. What a rush. Every roundabout more infrastructural than the last. Oh boy”

Not every Albany resident was as pleased though. With Danni telling The Times that she felt they could have gone a bit harder on the roundabouts. Adding,
“They were OK but I felt there could have been more. I had to drive the length of the highway 3 times to get my satisfaction”
The rush of Albany roundabout tourists is expected to cause substantial delays for the summer holidays.
