Disaster as Coles accidently leaves original explanation for its behaviour behind its special submission to the ACCC

Retail giant Coles has been left red-faced after accidently forgetting to remove the original excuse for its price gouging antics behind its official submission to the ACCC.

The move ironically mirrors the exact kind of predatory tomfoolery they have been repeatedly accused of engaging in.

A spokesperson for Coles told The Times it was an “oh shit” moment, adding,

“You wouldn’t believe it but we’ve done it again ha ha, we get caught out doing this everyday at our shops are usually just blame some minimum wage worker for human error as we don’t want to admit it’s a systemic method of tricking consumers into handing over more of their hard earned”

In true fashion, Coles has once again blamed human error and says any attempts to call out these fake specials is simply “politicising” the cost of living crisis and to stop bringing up their extensive profits.

A top legal expert has told The Times that it didn’t look good for Coles but “who were we kidding?” conceding that they are almost certain to get away with it again.

You rascals Coles!
