Eagles’ fans rush to secure tickets to Melbourne in September after match simulation victory

West Coast Eagles fans have sent a clear message to the footy world today after unanimously declaring they had seen enough and are booking tickets Melbourne in September.

The confidence comes off a dominant display against the Tiger’s b-side in a match simulation at Mineral Resources Park today.

By all accounts, it was the finest 3/4 of football ever played by a team. With a AFL insider stating,

“We have pretty much engraved West Coast Eagles onto the cup. It’s really hard to see anyone else even having a sniff at it after that”

Accordingly, all the major airlines have reported website outages due to the pure rush of requests hitting their serves. Similarly, the average wait time to try to get through on the blower ranges from 6-9 hours across respective airlines.

A diehard Eagles fan who attended the game said the way they dealt with the wooden spooners was “scary good”, adding,

“I wont lie, I was searching for Melbourne flights after the first quarter. Eagles are back and there is no denying that”

Although, not everyone in the media landscape is backing West Coast just yet. With well known blowhard Kane Cornes stating that he can’t see Eagles winning the flag but concedes top 4 is almost a certainty.

It says a lot about the form of West Coast today if that is the strongest dissenting opinion.
