It appears Sam Konstas’ heroic knock on debut has caused quite a stir abroad. Not only in India but in England where test cricketers are watching on in awe.
A spokesperson for English cricket told The Times,
“I wish we’d thought of this. To take lessons learned from ODIs and T20 and apply them to test cricket. Kozball could be huge and it was invented by an Australian, clearly”
Indeed it is irrefutable that Australia can claim credit for this unorthodox style of test batting that aims to accumulate runs quickly and rattle bowlers.
We understand that the English coach has called an emergency meeting with his players to try and copy the style. A working title is “Bazball” but an expert believes it’ll never actually work in the field. Adding,
