Good father Boland tells son he can still get ice cream despite his poor performance

What can’t this man do? Scott Boland has found it in his heart to let his son know that he’ll still get a delicious ice cream despite not performing well at weekend sport.

Typically, ice cream from Maccas is reserved as a reward for excellent performances but Scotty said he just loves his son too much. A source close to Boland told The Times,

“He’s a really good dad and he doesn’t what Kohli to think he doesn’t love him just because he couldn’t score any runs. His only job”

However, getting a treat was almost put on ice after seeing his son’s lack of sportsmanship when Steve Smith got out on 9999 total test runs. The source continued,

“Scott doesn’t like that sort of bad sportsmanship but accepted his son’s apology after a stern talking to and ultimately isn’t that what a good father does? Teaches his child to do better?”

No doubt. Great man, great father. Hopefully it will rub off on his son one day!
