A crust Kalgoorlie gold hunter has decided to book a trip to Paris after hearing about the Australian gold rush occurring at the Olympic Games.
To date, the Aussies have won 18 gold medals which is the nation’s best ever effort in an Olympic Games.
We spoke to Kev who said he goes where the gold is. A life philosophy that has netted him more than his fair share of nuggets. Adding,
“It’s all I hear down at the pub! Aussies striking gold at ever turn so I wants me some of that. Kev wants him a big old piece of that”
Unfortunately, when it comes to gold, Kev doesn’t always play fair. Accordingly, Olympians are advised to keep an eye on their treasured metals when Kev is snooping around.
However, Kev will have to learn some new tricks to get at this gold – with his other methods such as stealing paydirt not practical in the Olympic Village setting.
