North Melbourne lost after accidentally bypassing Bunbury en route to pre-season clash

The North Melbourne Kangaroos are thought to be somewhere on the Bunbury Bypass this afternoon after the team bus got a little confused after leaving Busso.

If they are not stuck on the roundabout paradise then there is a good chance they have severely overshot their target and there are now grave concerns for the team, especially if they made it to Mandurah.

In the event they have reached Mandurah then the Roo’s team bus is almost certainly out of action by now. Most likely sitting on bricks on the outskirts of the Forum. However, for the sake of the game today, fans are asked to remain hopeful.

A spokesperson for the Roos told The Times,

“Whether they’ll be able to get back to Bunbury in time remains unknown. The traffic on the Wilman Wadandi Highway is pretty thick still. This has put the entire pre-season match in jeopardy”

While it could be easy to blame the North Melbourne team for this, it should be noted that the pure pull the new bypass has is comparable to a black hole in space.

Even non-WA locals feel a strong compulsion to skip the South West town. Some liken it to an instinct of survival. A leading Douth expert told The Times,

“The ability to bypass Bunbury is simply an extension of the human condition. It’s like when you buy some saddo cat tower for your pet and it instinctively gives you the middle finger and plays with the box instead. Bunbury is that weird cat tower and the bypass is that joyful box”

That certainly puts things into perspective.
