Qantas has been left red faced after an R-rated film was played to every passenger on a flight from Sydney to Tokyo.
In response to the backlash, Qantas has told the public that it commits to being better and will only show films that once graced the late night spot on SBS in the 90s and early 2000s. Adding, “you know the ones”.
We spoke to a passenger on an upcoming Qantas flight who said he couldn’t wait and was going to enjoy the nostalgia,
“Oh yes, it will be like old times. I’ll wait for everyone to go to sleep then I’ll check the guide, look for the (s,n) next to the movie, put the volume right down and then quit as can be have a ninja-wan… um, no, don’t add that bit”
Qantas has confirmed that it can see “no possible issues” arising with the choice of entertainment.
However, not everyone is so sure. We spoke to a concerned mother who said she really didn’t want to expose her children to a horny husband trying to act like he’s interested in the plot of a foreign film. She continued,
“I don’t think I want my son seeing that. What a inefficient perve my husband is. He’ll watch an entire 2.5 hour movie just for a small glimpse of a tiddy. He learned it from SBS as a child so I can’t really blame him”
Qantas plans to roll out the no doubt PG friendly entertainment this month. Which also serves as a nice distraction from the $100M they were forced to pay for selling tickets to cancelled flights.
Those rascals!
