The VFL or AFL as they sometimes like to be known has cleared up some confusion stemming from last night.
Many a punter may have erroneously thought that the 2024 Grand Final would be between two non Victorian teams – Sydney & Brisbane.
A spokesperson for the VFL has sought to disavow the moronic public of this notion and made it clear that this is indeed a full Victorian affair. Adding,
“The VFL has witnessed many distressing comments on social media that are celebrating the lack of a Victorian team in the Grand Final. What kind of monster would celebrate that? However, they are wrong, Sydney is just South Melbourne with a harbour bridge and we all know Brisbane would be nothing without the mighty Fitzroy Lions. Blow that out your interstate team arse!”
Detecting some hostility we asked the spokesperson for the VFL if they were lowkey mad as hell about Geelong missing out. Not to mention darlings Carlton & Hawks going unceremoniously. They added,
“Mad about what? Two Victorian teams are in the grand final. Are you stupid? Can’t you do basic comprehension? What don’t you get about the mighty showdown of the bloods and the lions? First since 1899”
It was clear the VFL was going through a rather severe coping period.
