WA grants Coca-Cola free rights to this week’s rain clouds to ensure first dibs at all that water

In a landmark deal, Coca-Cola has been granted free access to the cloud formations that are forecast to bring plenty of rain this week.

This is great news for the company that shared concerns with the WA Government that they would’ve had to set up a comprehensive network of empty ice-cream tubs to ensure they got more than their fair share of the water than Western Australians.

A spokesperson for the company told The Times,

“Paying for water is for losers. Sorry, Perth. This landmark deal is proof of the commitment WA has to giving large corporations like us a free ride. Don’t worry you’ll be able to purchase all your beloved water back in the form of Neverfail”

Under the proposal, drones will carry enormous tarps into the sky and sit under the clouds to collect the rain and then whisk it away to Coca-Cola factories.

Naturally, not everyone is stoked with this arrangement and some WA Farmers have vowed to take shots at the drones if they see the water-collecting activity anywhere near their properties. One farmer told The Times,

“What do you think I’ve been doing all year? I haven’t been able to do any farming due to this drought so I just practice my aim. I dare those Coca-Cola drones to come anywhere me”

We spoke to the WA Government who told The Times that the decision to allow Coca-Cola to extract the water from clouds before it had a chance to fall onto the soil was in the interest of WA.
