WA Libs finally win enough seats for a 3am outdoor setting sesh

It’s been a hot Westralian minute since the WA Liberals had enough seats to enjoy a decent outdoor setting sesh deep into the wee hours on the weekend.

And while some are calling the WA Liberal’s 2025 election a “disaster” they are seeing the silver lining. We spoke to a party insider who told The Times,

“As it stands we have 5 seats so that’s a decent sesh right there. As the day goes on we expect to fill the 6th, always good to have a full table, and then maybe have to drag some eskies over for additional seating, the dream!”

While some might say that a good 3 am outdoor setting sesh pales in comparison to holding power, others would strongly disagree. We spoke to a constituent in the City of Kalamunda who is hopeful the Libs will take the seat. Adding,

“This is big Kalamunda energy. Over 50% of millennial babies were conceived after such a session. So it’s very important for the Hills Libs to see that table filled and lighters being slide effortlessly across that glass as they chain-smoke darts all night talking about when Baz is going to make his move”

The people of Carine are in obvious agreement. Even though they note that the glass table dynamic would feel a bit off with the likes of Cottesloe & Nedlands are the table. However they conceded,

“Look, Albany looks like it might get invited and you can always rely on the seasoned campaigners from Vasse who were outdoor table sessioning well before Down South became all fancy. I reckon she’ll be right”

Well there you go. Always making lemonade. One thing everyone can agree on is that 5-8 seats are sure better than 2 when it comes to a party.
