West Coast silence their critics with another superb sub 100-point loss

West Coast has delivered a strong message to the doubters – “we still haven’t been beaten by 100 points or more this season”.

Champagne will be flowing tonight after keeping today’s loss to a mere 61 points. Practically a win with all things considered.

A source from within the Eagles’ camp confirmed that the season will be deemed an objective success if they can just keep those pesky triple digit thrashings at bay. Adding,

“Really is a fantastic effort from the boys. If only we had this kind of energy last season. No wonder all the Eagles members stayed until the very end!”

We spoke to a massive Eagles’ hater who conceded he had to give them this one. Adding,

“This game really should’ve been 100-120 point shellacking but it wasn’t. They somehow kept it together and I reckon that’s worthy of my respect. Props”

Of course, not everyone was so complimentary of the team. With Kane Cornes alleging that the Eagles are playing like a team that doesn’t know how to utilise priority picks. Adding,

“Why put this much heart and effort into a game when you should be tanking? This is not the time for heroic performances like we saw today and it shows a club that just doesn’t have the balls to handle a priority pick or two”

Well done to the boys.
