A young dad has awoken to the news that his most played songs for the year were in fact children’s tunes from The Wiggles.
Speaking to his mates at work, Dan attempted to pass off his musical taste as part & parcel of raising a toddler. By all accounts no one was buying it.
We spoke to his colleague Mark who told The Times that he’d often heard the unmistakble sound of Big Red Car humming from Dan’s headphones. Adding,
“You like The Wiggles, mate, just own it, it’s not like the rest of us are out raving to drum & bass till 6 in the morning either”
Nevertheless, Dan remained defiant and told anyone who would listen that his youngest can’t get enough of the Aussie musical sensation.
In the interest of investigative journalism we spoke to Dan’s wife who made a startling admission,
“Sammy doesn’t really like The Wiggles, Dan is always trying to play it but it’s not to our toddler’s taste. I’ve walked into the shed and Dans pumping The Wiggles while tinkering around. You should’ve seen him at The Wiggles adult’s only show, he lost himself to the rythmns”
Well there you go. Just own it Dan.
